Support legislation that ensures municipalities such as Laredo, are notified when any actions affecting the water supply and/or water resources upstream are communicated to the municipalities that are downstream.

The City of Laredo’s source of drinking water is the Rio Grande River between the Texas and Mexico border. With this in mind, the City should be informed about any news or information from municipalities with water resources upstream that could have an impact on Laredo’s drinking resource and other resources downstream.
