Increase the personnel at the TxDoT Laredo District to handle the amount of construction projects scheduled.

The Laredo District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDoT) lacks the adequate personnel to handle the amount of infrastructure projects that are being scheduled. Through the years, the Laredo District has seen an increase in projects, but has not had a reciprocal increase in the amount of employees hired to handle these projects. The lack of adequate employees delays the completion of projects and delays other projects from coming to fruition. Projects are being pushed back from one fiscal year to the next due to the lack of human resources available to the District Engineer.
