Our “global perspective” for the City of Laredo includes the concern for preservation, restoration, and improvement of our natural environment. This is why we we ask you to take into consideration proposals from our City’s Solid Waste and Environmental Departments which are at aimed protecting our surroundings. We ask for your continued support of funding for education programs that make young students aware of the importance of taking care of the environment. We also ask for your continued support for grants that help our city put into action recycling programs that benefit our community. Please consider the items under the “environmental section.”
